Traditional printing can be divided into: manual screen printing, machine screen printing, and heat transfer printing; New forms of printing, also known as digital printing, can be divided into: pigment direct injection digital printing, active direct injection digital printing, acidic direct injection digital printing, and heat transfer digital printing;

Compared with traditional printing, digital printing does not require grinding tools and directly outputs data, while traditional printing requires a series of tedious processes such as screen making, color matching, and sizing. Therefore, digital printing greatly reduces the cost of sampling, shortens time, and reduces waste of chemical products and wastewater discharge, achieving a green production process related to traditional printing.

Digital printing: It can meet the needs of small batch and fast response customers, and has good matching ability for producing high-end and personalized customized products;

Digital direct printing is mainly divided into three types: active printing, acid printing, and pigment printing:

1. Active digital direct jet printing is mainly used on woven and knitted fabrics such as cotton, hemp, or silk, or on pure natural plant fibers with high content of the above ingredients;

2. Acid digital direct jet printing is mainly used for dyeing wool, silk, and nylon, and is mostly used for printing swimwear fabrics, with relatively few other applications;

3. Digital direct spray printing of coatings, which is less commonly used in China, mainly focuses on direct spray printing of cotton and linen fabrics. Moreover, digital direct spray printing of coatings can be applied to black fabrics;

In addition to direct jet printing, digital transfer printing is also the most widely used method, mainly used on polyester and woven fabrics with high polyester content.
